The Missouri National Guard uses a variety of supplies for it's work work near New Orleans.
And as Dustin Blanchard found out, when they don't have what they need . . .they go to the store.
The guardsmen say New Orleans is one of their hardest deployments.
They moved in with no conveniences like electricity and no support structure in place.
Supplies come in on a daily flight from St. Louis.
But if guardsmen can't wait, Captain Bruce Becker sends them to the store.
A few chain stores in Jefferson Parish opened up -- but just for emergency workers.
Embedded with the Missouri National Guard near New Orleans -- I'm Dustin Blanchard.
