Missouri Guardsmen are on their way to New Orleans.

Dustin Blanchard takes a look at the cost of their trip.

For the 175th Military Police Batallion, New Orleans is still a day away.

But the convoy has already seen the Hurricane's effects -- through high gas prices.

The convoy has already spent $4500 on fuel.

But the convoy commander says it won't affect the guard's mission

Actuality:

OutCue:
Contents: "You know we're going down there to help people that don't have what we have up here. Fuel's not going to be an issue."

McBride estimates the 22-vehicle convoy's bill will top $10,000 today.

Embedded with the 175th Military Police Batallion, I'm Dustin Blanchard.
