The CDC is Creating a New Plan to Distribute the Flu Vaccine

A nationwide flu vaccine shortage influences Missouri. Wan Xu has the story. Story:

People in Missouri will have to wait a little longer until they get vaccinated. The Cole County Department of Health said it is waiting on the CDC to issue a new vaccination plan.Rachelle Collinge is a registered nurse in the Immunization Program. She said it will take a few more weeks for the new plan to come up.

Contents: The CDC is right now determining the best way to distribute what vaccine we have to make sure that all high-risk people in the United State covered and there's no area of shortage.

So far, the Cole County Department of Health has no exact count of how much vaccine is available, but about half of the national supply is affected by the shortage.
