The Senate granted preliminary approval to a bill that prohibits adult entertainment businesses from advertising within one mile of state highways.

Under the bill, businesses like strip clubs, sex - toy shops and pornography vendors would not be allowed to advertise by state highways.
Senator Matt Bartle, who sponsored the bill, says it's time to clean up the roads.
