Bill to ban offensive billboards has lots of support

The Senate gives preliminary approval to a bill banning billboards advertising adult businesses within one mile of state highways.

Rachel Schaff tells how the bill has garnered a great deal of support.

The bill to ban adult billboards received little opposition from the Senate floor.

Senator Matt Bartle, who sponsored the legislation, says many people support the bill.

Contents: "If you'll talk to people they will tell you they are sick and tired of seeing this garbage lining our highways."

Under the bill, existing offensive billboards would have three years to comply.

The House also passed a similar proposal.
