Sen. Maida Coleman, a Democrat from St. Louis City, is sponsoring a bill that will add several forms of identification to the crime of identity theft. Coleman says this growing problem deserves attention.

Sen. Maida Coleman, a Democrat from St. Louis City, may have personal reasons for sponsoring a bill expanding the crime of identity theft. Coleman's son was a recent victim of this crime.
