A Missouri House committee hears testimony on a bill banning human cloning research in Missouri.
Zack Ottenstein has more from the state Capitol.
Dr. John Morris is a philosophy professor at Rockhurst University.
His son died several years ago from a bad heart.
Morris says he's against human cloning research despite acknowledging it could save the lives of children born like his son.
But, he says ending one life to save another is bad philosophy.
The bill is not yet slated for debate.
From the state Capitol, I'm Zack Ottenstein.
