Governor-elect Matt Blunt announced five additions to his gubernatorial staff today.

Jade Mingus has more about Blunt's choice for chief of staff.

Governor-elect Matt Blunt named Springfield, Mo., native Ken McClure as his chief of staff.

McClure is currently serving as Transition Director for Blunt.

Blunt says the chief of staff position is a demanding job considering the changes he wants to make.

"In state government one of the most challenging and difficult jobs regardless of the times and regardless of what were trying to accomplish is to serve as Governor's chief of staff and today I'm pleased to announce Ken McClure."

Among Blunt's other appointments were Rob Monsees as the deputy chief of staff for policy and John Russell as the deputy chief of staff for administration.

McClure has 23 years of state government experience and has served as Missouri Public Service Commission Chairman.
