St. Louis cardinals are looking into the possibility of relocating to Illinois.
Missouri officials are looking to find a way to keep the St. Louis cardinals in Missouri.
A study released in february from a research group in St. Louis showed the annual economic impact of the cardinals on the state of Missouri is 296 million dollars.
Director of communications Jim Grebins said the loss of the cardinals would have tremendous economic impact on Missouri.
Grebins said the state is committed to finding a way to keep the cardinals in Missouri.
The city has been working on a stadium developement plan.
Grebins is plan will be finished by the end of next month.
The possibility of the cardinals moving to Illinois has missouri officials working hard to find a way to keep the cardinals in St. Louis.
