The Missouri salary commission will decide tomorrow whether to recommend pay increases for state employees and elected officials. Elizabeth Gill has the story in Jefferson City:

The commission held 4 public hearings throughout the state over the last 2 months. Tomorrow salary commissions will gather to compare notes and decide how they will approach state legislators this January on the subject of pay raises. Assistant Director for Budget Mark Reading says the effect of state's budget crisis has played out in some of the public hearings:

OutCue: "last two years"

Tomorrow's meeting will produce the 4th report from the salary commission since it was formed in 1994. From the State Capitol, I'm Elizabeth Gill.
