The American Red Cross, which was criticized for its attempt to profit from last year's terrorist attacks, will sponsor a memorial to be held this Wednesday at the State Capitol.
Elizabeth Gill has the story from Jefferson City:
Donald Otto, a Red Cross Volunteer and Missouri Government Relations Liason says the memorial will honor the victims and heroes of 9-11.
Representatives from the various groups that responded to New York and Washington following the attacks will be part of the ceremony, such as Missouri Task Force One and the Missouri National Guard.
The Red Cross also plans to hold a blood drive at the Governor's mansion as part of the event.
From the State Capital, I'm Elizabeth Gill.
