U.S. Sen. Jean Carnahan highlighted Thursday her efforts to combat methamphetamine production in Missouri.

Carnahan stated that the meth epidemic is growing in Missouri, and more funding and coordination between law enforcement agencies is needed.
Carnahan has already garnered more than $1.1 million in Missouri's war against meth production and has also cut through red tape to ensure $10 million in federal funds.
