The House Republican leaders got some help to figure out what to do with this year's budget.
Sara Lane has the story in Jefferson City.
A panel of private experts gave their budget recommendations Monday.
House Republican leader Catherine Hanaway appointed the committee last August.
One recommendation was to create a legislative committee to review the budget.
Catherine Hanaway sees that as a way to increase legislative efficiency.
Hanaway says there will be legislation to address the panel's recommendations.
