Opponents of a plan to spend tax money on a new ballpark for the Cardinals say voters should decide.

A plan to let voters have input on the Cardinals stadium proposal came before a House committee.

The public vote proposal comes from St Louis County representative Jim Murphy...he's one of the most outspoken critics of public funding for a new stadium.

He says voters need to get the facts and then head to the polls.
