A new House rule could lead to a more balanced budget. JiaoJiao Shen has the story from Jefferson City.
Representative Tim Green from St. Louis County introduced a resolution that would secure a balanced budget.
In order to propose an amendment, the lawmaker must have a funding source within the budget.
But that source is not always easy to find.

The Missouri House agreed with the resolution and passed it Tuesday evening.
