Arguments continue on how to best allocate tobacco settlement money

Another round of arguments took place in the statehouse as Missouri lawmakers decide how to spend tobacco settlement money.

Several pending Senate bills would earmark money for preventing smoking in teenagers, but they differ on exactly how much.

Republican Betty Sims says she's unsure about preventative programs.

Contents: Sen. Sims says that maybe 10 percent of the settlement money allotted for health care could be used to get preventative programs off the ground, but should not be used to fund it for many years.

Sims says a better alternative is using the money to fund health environment programs.

A seperate bill would allot 25 percent of the $6.7 billion settlement for teen smoking prevention.
