Thursday is the second day of the special legislative session.

A special House committee and the Senate agriculture committee will consider a proposal to rewrite the 19-99 livestock pricing law.

The Ways and Means committees in both houses will discuss exempting the federal tax rebate from state taxation.

The Senate Public Health and Welfare committee and the House committee on Children, Families and Health will consider the proposed prescription drug plan.

And the special Senate interim committee to investigate collective bargaining for state workers will meet for the first time. Collective bargaining is not an issue Holden included in the agenda for the special session.
