The House may pass a bill that will increase scholarships for prospective special education teachers. Jenny Hoff has more from the State Capitol.
St. Louis Representative Quincy Troupe supports a bill that will give an increased scholarship to minority students who major in special education.
The bill would raise the current scholarship offered to teachers from $3000 to $6000.
The bill would also raise the amount of scholarships offered to students in teaching in St. Louis from 100 to 200. From Jefferson City, this is Jenny Hoff with KMOX.
