Vacant Special Session?

The Missouri legislature will meet at noon on Wednesday.

But not everyone will be there.

Sara Lane has the story from Jefferson City.

Many state house members have been told they can stay home Wednesday for the opening of the Governor's special session.

For the first time in recent memory, only legislative leaders will start the legislative session.

Some representatives say allowing members to stay home is a good way to save money.

But some question whether the move is constitutional.

Republican Floor Leader Catherine Hanaway sees both sides.

Hanaway says if any group is unhappy with decisions made in this session, there could be court action to test constitutionality of the session.
