Cara Karunaratne has more from Jefferson City.
The bill prohibits sexual orientation discrimination in many areas...such as buying a house or in the workplace.
Jeff Wunrow, Executive Director for Privacy Rights Education Projects says he is not asking for special rights for homosexuals.
The bill's sponsor says he's pretty sure this bill won't pass the committee this year.
From Jefferson City, I'm Cara Karunaratne, KMOX News.
