House Votes Down Pay Raise

The Missouri House rejects a pay increase measure for lawmakers. Karyn Dest has the story from Jefferson City.

The House voted down the pay increase measure 147 to 7. St. Louis County Republican Catherine Hanaway voted against the measure.

But St. Louis County Democrat Joseph Treadway says there's nothing wrong the commission's report.

The bill is now in the Senate. Senators have until midnight tonight to approve or reject the measure.
