The FBI requested copies of records for all international students from two Missouri colleges in search of evidence related to the September 11 terrorist attacks.

Kellie Applen has the story from Jefferson City.

Columbia College and the University of Missouri in Columbia are two of many colleges around the United States the FBI and INS have contacted.

A Columbia newspaper reported Thursday that Federal authorities will search college records for clues on a possible money trail linked to the terror attack.

A spokesman from the University of Missouri said they cannot confirm that any students records have been handed over to the FBI.
