Missouri state auditor has found problems in the State Water Patrol Department

This is Sara Lasure for Missouri Capital Caucus.

The state auditor Claire McCaskill says there are problems with Missouri's State Water Patrol.

McCaskill listed poor record keeping, ticket accountability, vehicle and boat usage, and the prior commissioner's leave balances of over $10,000 as areas that need to be improved.

Missouri State Water Patrol Commissioner Colonel Jerry Adams: is not surprised with what the audit found.
