Soon finding a taxi cab from the St. Louis airport might be easier...Michelle Wirth has more from Jefferson City.
Missouri Lawmakers, cab companies and the local Chamber and Growth Association are working on a House bill that creates a taxi cab commission governing both St. Louis City and St. Louis County. Public Affairs Director Gordon Reel of the Commerce and Growth Association says the current system is not working.
Reel says the commission would lead to better service and better guidelines for cab companies. If the bill doesn't pass this legislative session Reel says his organization will continue to meet with Taxi Company owners over the summer. From Jefferson City, I'm Michelle Wirth.
