Missouri professionals will be punished for not paying off their student loans under proposed a House bill. Jenny Hoff has more from the State Capitol.
Representative Craig Hosmer proposed a bill that would allow the state to take away professional licenses if people fail to pay back their student loans. He says about 100 people default on their student loans every year.
Hosmer says the threat of losing their license should encourage most people to pay back their student loans. From Jefferson City, this is Jenny Hoff.
