One of President Bush's Florida recount lawyers is headed to the Show-Me State.

In a party line vote, the Senate Redistricting Committee hired lawyer Michael Carvin, who made oral arguments on behalf of President Bush in the Florida recount.

Democratic Senator Steve Stoll says he doesn't feel comfortable having a lawyer who is so involved in partisan politics.

Contents: Senator Stoll says he doesn't think George W. Bush's lawyer is best lawyer to represent the whole redistricting committee.

Stoll says he would have preferred a less partisan lawyer, or just relied on the Attorney General's advice.
