House Ways and Means committee holds a hearing on tax cut bill

Two hours after the collapse of the World Trade Center buildings in New York City, Missouri House Ways and Means commitee held a hearing on the tax cut bill.

The meeting started with talk about the tragedy.

Chairmain Kennedy says in such difficult situations the House has to stay at work, and not run and hide.

With no debates, the committee approved the the substitute for Senate Bill on tax cuts.
