Lieutenant Tim Hull says automobile travel is usually high around the Thanksgiving holiday but more cars may join the roads due to the September 11th attacks.
This year the Highway Patrol will be participating in operation CARE- Combined Accident Reduction Effort. Thanksgiving is traditionally one of the most deadly seasons on Missouri highways. Last year there were over 1900 traffic accidents, with 13 fatalities.From Jefferson City, this is Rachel Busacker for KOMX News.
