The Missouri Highway Patrol says they are expecting an increase in drivers on the road over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Rachel Busacker has the story from Jefferson City.

Lieutenant Tim Hull says automobile travel is usually high around the Thanksgiving holiday but more cars may join the roads due to the September 11th attacks.

Thanksgiving is traditionally one of the most deadly seasons on Missouri highways. Last year there were over 1900 traffic accidents, with 13 fatalities.
