Six members of the Senate staff fired

The Missouri legislature is not in session today but it still made six life altering decisions...Michelle Wirth has more from Jefferson City.

The announcement came from Republican Senate President Pro Tem Peter Kinder's office. Six Senate staffers were fired, reducing the number of Senate staffers from 211 to 205. Kinder says the staffers were fired to save taxpayers money.

Contents: When we took control of the Senate in February we began a top to bottom management review of the entire staff and senate operation. We determined that there were six positions that could be eliminated.
