In a straight party line vote, Missouri's Senate redistricting committee kicked US Representative Dick Gephardt out of St. Louis City.
Gephardt's the top Democrat in congress. This change could means reelection could be more difficult for Gephardt, because it moves Democrats out of his district. Republican St. Louis County Senator Mike Gibbons voted for the map.

The Senate redistricting committee approved a map moving Gephardt out of St. Louis City. Gephardt is the US House minority leader. The changes in the map could mean a tough reelection bid for Gephardt, depending on how many Democrats are in his new district. Republican St. Louis County Senator Mike Gibbons says the map is sensible.
The legislature only has two weeks to approve the plan before this year's session ends. Michelle Wirth, KMOX-News.
