A St Louis Representative is filing for re-election even though she's reached the limit of her term...She says it will lead to a court challenge of term limits.
Missy Shelton has this report.
Rita Days, a democrat from St Louis city says she will file for re-election even though under the Missouri Constitution her time is up.
Days says she wants to challenge term limits in court and a political heavyweight is on her side.
Former Liuetnant Governor Kenny Rothman will represent Days in the lawsuit.
He says ending term limits is a matter of common sense.
A supporter of term limits says a similar lawsuit in California failed to undo voter-approved term limits.
