The Democratic Party is seeking the termination of Republican spokesman Daryl Duwe after he compared State Auditor Claire McCaskill to a "cheap hooker."
Gop spokesman Duwe says that the people need to know when a state official is being used by a political party.
Democratic Chairman Joe Carmichael says he hopes that Gop Chair Ann Wagner finds this statement unacceptable.
This incident marks the second time in the last month Duwe has been chastised.
After a visit to Cape Girardeau, county prosecutor Morley Swingle said Duwe's tactics were "sleazy."
No Republicans were available for comment.
