Missouri's Governor-elect says a quarter-billion dollars in court-ordered tax refunds will hurt his plans for education and healthcare. Aaron Cummins has more from Jefferson City--
Bob Holden met with the media just a day after a court ruled against the state he'll lead.
The ruling says Missouri failed to return nearly 250-million dollars to taxpayers over the past five years.
Holden says losing that money would make his job more difficult.
That decision will likely find its way to a higher court.
The Attorney General's office says they'll file an appeal.

Missouri's Governor-elect spoke for the first time today since returning from a conference for newly elected governors. Aaron Cummins has the story from Jefferson City.
It wasn't quite a summer camp for Bob Holden... actually more of a winter camp... in the ski town of Park City, Utah.
Holden says the conference stressed the importance of a good staff.
Holden says he's beginning the process of choosing people for jobs throughout his administration.
He even set up a website where anyone can apply to work in his administration.
