Missouri Democrats Support Gore's Continuing Battle for the White House

The presidential battle rages on in Florida, but the election is clear-cut in the eyes of Missouri politicians. Erin Guyer has more from the State Capitol.

While Al Gore continues his legal quest for the Capitol, Democrats in Missouri offer unwavering support for the Vice President. Missouri Democrats see the legal battle and vote recounts as a fair part of the democratic process.

State Auditor Claire McCaskill says Gore's legal initiatives are standard practice and says similar actions are taking place across the country.

The United States Supreme Court is expected to hear arguments from Gore and Bush attorneys this Friday.
