Laetitia Thompson has the story from Jefferson City.
Republican Senator Roseann Bentley says Missouri's foster children don't have nearly enough money.
Bentley aked the Senate to increase the foster care budget by 1.5 million dollars.
Fellow Republican Doyle Childers said he supported Bentley's proposal.
