House votes against enacting Equal Pay law

House Republicans and Conservative Democrats rejected a bill to enact Misssouri's Equal Pay law.

Tammara Porter has more from Jefferson City.

Debate from the bill's opponents centered around small business and women.

Opponents say the bill treats women like victims and harms small businesses.

But Democratic Representative Terry Riley says no one wanted to discuss the importance the bill would've had on the minority community.
