State Democrats are criticizing Republican gubernatorial candidate Jim Talent's 15-year highway proposal -- and Talent is fighting back. Kyle Elfrink has that story from Jefferson City:
KTE
Republican gubernatorial candidate Jim Talent says that state Democrats are wrong in their criticism of his proposed 15-year highway improvement plan. still, talent says that he refuses to get into political squabbling with his opponents ...
Talent's proposal calls for average annual debt payments of 630 million dollars per year, while Democrats argue that the average debt will be closer to 730 million each year -- making his highway plan full of potholes.
From the state capital, I'm Kyle Elfrink.
