Missouri voters just voted on guns and lawmakers may soon vote on sex education. Princess Reyes reports as this debate continues in the state capitol:

The central issue of this legislation is what to include in sex education programs, if a district decides to have one.

Representative Barbara Fraser of Clayton says it should be comprehensive and not only stress abstinence, but also teach students about disease control and contraceptives.

Contents: Fraser says 75 percent of high school seniors have been involved in some sexual activity and those students need to be protected also.

But Sen. Harold Caskey of Butler opposes the bill and says sex education is the parents' responsibility.

Fraser says she is unsure when the bill will be discussed again.
