Opponents of Lambert expansion gathered behind the capitol to voice their opposition to a bill which would strip the city of Bridgeton of its zoning rights. Chris Pelikan has more from Jefferson City.
As the proposed W-1W runway expansion nears approval, representatives from the city of Bridgeton met in Jefferson City to protest. A bill, now in front of the senate, would strip the city of Bridgeton of its zoning rights and would allow St. Louis to proceed with runway expansion without opposition.
Sen. Ted House of St. Charles says airport expansion is crucial, but deserves to be analyzed further.
Representatives of the city of St. Louis claim there is always a price to pay for progress.
