If you're looking to get your hands on a Missouri version of the U.S. Mint's new state-themed quarters, you'll have to wait until 2003. Aaron Cummins has that story from Jefferson City--

You've probably noticed something different about your change lately-- a scene from one of five states has replaced the eagle that used to appear on the back of quarters.

The U.S. Mint will release five different state quarters every year for the next 10 years. The coins will be issued in the order in which states became part of the union.

That means the Missouri quarter will be the 24th released and won't be available until July 2003.

Suggestions for Missouri's quarter can be sent to the Governor's office here in Jefferson City.

From the capitol, I'm Aaron Cummins.
