House approves ban on partial birth abortions

A bill banishing abortion in the late stages of pregnancies was approved in the House.

Arshiya Syed has the story from Jefferson City.

The Infant's Protection Act which would ban partial birth abortion was voted in the House and passed preliminary voting.

Representative Vicky Rayback- Wilson of Columbia was concerned of the constitionality of the bill and contradicting with court rulings such as Roe versus Wade.
