Flags Lowered At State Facilities

At least one state lawmaker expressed disapproval of flying American flags at half-staff in honor of Jordan's late King Hussein. Karyn Dest reports from Jefferson City.

The governor ordered the flags to fly at half-staff in honor of the late King Hussein of Jordan.

But Representative Fred Pouche (Poosh-ay) of Kansas City says that kind of tribute should be reserved for American citizens.
