Missouri unemployment rate goes down

The Missouri employment rate has increased to what experts call the point of full employment during the past year. Stacy Covitz has more from Jefferson City.

The number of out-of-work Missourians has dropped to 3 and a half percent. Missouri Department of Economic Development spokesman Jim Gardner says most economists consider this a full employment rate.

Gardner says the creation of new jobs has contributed to the high employment level.
