Missouri Republicans say they want to stop talking about pictures of Mel Carnahan performing in blackface. Aaron Cummins has more from Jefferson City--

Republican Party spokesman Daryll Duwe says his party is done talking about the pictures.

He says Carnahan must be disturbed by the pictures because he's continuing what Duwe calls an "apology tour".

Duwe says the governor has aksed to be judged by his public record-- but since the governor was a judge at the time of the performance Dewey says this is part of his public record.
