Several of Missouri's women politicians speak out after Elizabeth Dole announces her exit from the race seeking the republican presidential nomination. Sakina Dewji has the story from Jefferson City.

Several of Missouri's contingency of female politicians praised Elizabeth Dole on the same day she ended her run at the presidency.

Women lawmakers praised Dole for her courage in seeking office, but also commended her on realizing the financial shortcomings that have plauged her campaign.

Republican Representative Catherine Enz says despite failing at her bid for the White House, she may not be far from other political office.
