Two state law makers have proposed a computerized registry for child and elder care providers. Arshiya Syed reports from the State Capitol.

Two Columbia families who lost their children to a child care provider came to the state capitol to express support for the Family Care Safety Act.

Representative Kate Hollingsworth sponsored the bill to create a state wide database that would help families run a background check before they decide on a care provider.
