Four casino chains bid for a spot to build a new casino outside of St. Louis. Stacy Covitz has more in Jefferson City.
Lady Luck Casinos is one of four casinos applying for a spot outside of St. Louis. Representative Bob Walsh says Lady Luck is updating their application for a 100-million-dollar casino for the Missouri Gaming Commission to approve.
The Gaming Commission will meet with the legislative pannel on Gaming to consider the four casinos' applications. The other casinos applying for the spot are Ameristar, Isle of Capri Casinos and Chain of Rocks Casino Celebration.
Gaming Commissioner Mel Fisher says he will discuss open boarding of casinos in eastern Missouri at the pannel's meeting.
From the state capitol, I'm Stacy Covitz.
