A Missouri Right to Life memorial held in the Capital's Rotuda today (Tuesday) honoring those who have died from abortion kicked off what could be a busy legislative season for right to life advocates. Kurt Silver has the story from Jefferson City . . .

Four House bills banning partial birth abortions are awaiting committee assignment and one of the bills' sponsors, Representative Chrismer, said he believes passage is likely.

Chrismer also said that A 1997 partial birth abortion bill which passed both houses by more than two-thirds vote was vetoed by Gov. Carnahan.
