Governor Carnahan's office says the Governor doesn't expect any of the 10 bills he vetoed this year to face challenges in tomorrow's/today's legislative session. Lee McGuire has more from Jefferson City.
Governor Carnahan signed 225 bills into law this year. He vetoed 10. Wednesday the state legislature meets to decide if any of these vetoed bills deserve an override.
Carnahan spokesman Chris Sifford said the Governor has spoken with legislators, and believes the vetoes will stand.
Outgoing Senate President Bill McKenna will preside over the veto session. He says that as far as he knows, none of the Governor's vetoes will face an objection. At the State Capital, Lee McGuire, KMOX News.
