Columbia Representative Chuck Graham believes that people have a right NOT to be tape recorded without their knowledge. And if he has his way, taping a conversation without that person's consent would be a Class D Felony.
Some people aren't pleased. Bob Priddy, news director at MissouriNet, worries such a law could impede journalists' ability to collect information.
